Them & Us
Directed by Ruth Madoc-Jones
A world premiere presentation by Theatre Passe Muraille
Previews from January 6
Opens January 8, runs to January 31, 2009
Theatre Passe Muraille proudly continues its tradition of nurturing new and innovative work by producing the world premiere of Them & Us, the extraordinary first full-length play by acclaimed writer-actor and Second City alumnus, Tracy Dawson.
Them & Us is a darkly comic series of portraits that lays bare male-female relationships. Why do we have such difficulty connecting? We put ourselves in one camp, automatically creating the other: the “them”. We crave love, we’re desperate for it, we are uplifted by it, but we are also crushed by it. And far too often we run from it; stumbling as we go. Tracy Dawson’s play is both hilarious and heartbreaking. Like life.
